Team Size: Teams must consist of 3 to 4 members.

Diversity: Teams should be diverse in terms of gender and technical skill backgrounds.

Registration: All team members must be registered participants of TechX Rwanda 2026.

One Submission per Team: Each team may only submit one project on Devpost.
The final pitch showcase on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, is an in-person event held at the University of Rwanda, Nyarugenge Campus. All participants must be based in Rwanda and capable of physically attending the venue if their team is selected among the top finalists to present.
Project & Submission Rules

Originality: All work must be created during the hackathon timeline. Teams may use open-source libraries and pre-cleaned datasets, but the core application logic must be developed during the event.

Functional Prototype Required: "Slide-only" presentations without source code or a working prototype are strictly disqualified from scoring.

Submission Deadline: All deliverables (Devpost text, GitHub repo, slides, and video demo) must be submitted by Saturday, August 29, at 12:00 PM sharp.

Pitch Format: Each team will receive 7 minutes total during the showcase (4 minutes for presentation/demo + 3 minutes for Q&A with judges).
